•November 11, 2009 • Leave a CommentHello,
Friends and Colleagues, It has come to my attention recently that a specific facet of my business have been comprimised by those with ill will towards myself and my business. I appreciate those of you who understand and can personally assure each and every one of you that we are doing what we can to resolve the matter. Please let us all take a moment to remember to secure your networks, make your passwords harder, (write them down if you have to) and change them regularly. Upon complete removal of this hiccup in operations we will post an update of not only how it happened but how you can prevent it.
Thanks for understanding and if you have any questions, please email sales@ocelotmarketing.com for any comments.

•August 16, 2009 • Leave a CommentFour Steps to Success!
1. The first step in the Four Steps to Success is to discover your strengths and weaknesses. Not only does knowing your strengths aid in the constant battle against your self-defeatism, but it also gives you an opportunity to truly be egotistical. Which by the way, can be very good for some one with low self esteem.
Your strengths are what is going to get you through life. So spend some time thinking about yourself and how effective you could be if you had individuals in your life that were good at the things you are not. On the other hand, knowing your weaknesses can be often times more valuable than knowing what you are good at. The most common mistake that small to medium sized businesses make with their employees is what I call the “Interview Paradox.”
Employers will hire these people based on the skill they saw in the interviewing process, then become dissapointed with the individual when they don’t perform well while being asked to do things they weren’t hired to do. A great example of this is salespeople. Great salespeoples should never be doing anything but selling. Nothing. Employers should immediately either do the paperwork for the sales person. or find some one else to do it for them. Better yet, find some one who ENJOYS doing paperwork. They aren’t hard to find, especially in this depression we’re in. Good salespeople are rare and should be treated with respect and appreciation, because they do make the company money and money makes your world go round.
On a side note. Yes I called it a depression, you’d be kidding yourself if you called it anything but. When’s the last time you or anyone you know ate good? The only thing that staves off full blown rationing is the welfare system. Hey capitalists, your chickens have come to roost. If you have at all enjoyed what I’ve had to say, then please come back and see us for the Next Step in the Four Steps to Success. Firefox is one of the most important inventions in modern history. Not only did Mozilla Firefox directly challenge the monopoly of the web browser industry by Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, but it was innovative as well. Another Mozilla product, the web browser has an endless number of Firefox plugins and Firefox extensions available to the end user. Every free Mozilla Firefox download makes life for people around the world easier. The question most people ask about Firefox is, “Is #Mozilla Firefox better than Internet Explorer?” The short answer is yes. Firefox is easier to use than Internet Explorer. Firefox is faster than Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox is also safer than Internet Explorer. Opera is decent but is quirky and doesn’t have anywhere near the number of developers making extensions for the browser. Many of you have probably downloaded Firefox for free at one time or another, but because of a lack of time or experience never got familiar with the program. Why is a marketing company repping for Mozilla Firefox? Simply put we believe it to be the most important development for web browsing since the invention of the web browser. Check back for all our tips on the best Firefox extensions and Firefox plugins.
